William J. Judd IV, age 47, of Orwell, Ohio, died on Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was born Jan. 12, 1961, in Oneonta, N.Y., the son of William J. and Priscilla (Fogarty) Judd III. He was a 1979 graduate of Norwich High School in Norwich, N.Y.

William had been a resident of Orwell for the past 15 years, where he was a firefighter and officer for the Orwell Fire Department since 1995.

He enjoyed his dogs, baseball and especially enjoyed bicycle and four-wheel riding with his grandson.

Bill is survived by his wife, Melody (Lawton), who he married June 30, 1984, in Norwich, N.Y.; daughters, Keri Judd of Orwell and Amy Callahan of Andover; father, William J. (Katherine) Judd III of Richmond, Va.; mother, Priscilla (Harry) Cincotta of Inverness, Fla.; sister, Lorian Kostranchuk of Albuquerque, N.M.; half-brothers, Harry Cincotta of Albuquerque, N.M., and Matthew Judd of Chantilly, Va.; half-sisters, Stacy Binelli of Norwich, N.Y., and Sarah VanDam of Richmond, Va.; and grandchildren, Kobe and Kaiden Callahan.

Funeral Services for William will be 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at the PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 East Main St., Orwell, Ohio, with the Rev. Sandy Seaton-Todd, of the Orwell Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Orwell North Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home from Noon until the service on Friday.
