MVA with Entrapment

July 21, 2009

Just before 5:00 p.m. on July 21st AVFD received a call for a single vehicle accident on State Route 85. Engine 105 responded and upon arrival found a single vehicle into a pole with heavy damage. The AVFD crew used the Hurst tools to open the doors and roll the dash to remove the victim. AVFD would also like to thank North Shenango VFD for their assistance with traffic control and for securing the landing zone for the MedEvac helicopter.
