First Run of the New Year

January 01, 2010

Shortly after 9pm on New Years Day, AVFD was dispatched mutual aid to North Shenango VFD for a structure fire on Linesville Rd. Engine 101 responded with a full crew and arrived on scene and assisted with fire attack, search, checking for extension, salvage and extensive overhaul. While crews operated inside, Conneaut Lake Park VFD stood by on scene as the RIT. AVFD cleared the scene around 1:20 a.m.
